COVID 19 UPDATE

COVID 19 UPDATE

It’s been a trying difficult few months but we are now at a stage where we are going to be in a position to be able to see patients in the practice for a limited number of treatments.

It is really important you read this message carefully so we can help everyone in a safe and efficient manner.
We have had lots of calls from patients who have heard announcements from the radio that we are able to do routine treatment. Unfortunately, this is information is not fully accurate and causing some confusion. Any AGP procedures in the practice according to government guidelines is only for emergency care.

As an extremely high risk profession, we need to have special equipment and safety measures in place to allow us to do our job both safely and efficiently. This means that when we are ready to do routine treatment, dentistry as we know it will look completely different for the foreseeable future- months, not weeks.

We will have a significantly reduced number of appointment slots and will continue to have limitations on what we can do here and where we can refer you to as NHS Dentistry gets back up and running.

Please DO NOT come into the practice without an appointment. Call us upon your arrival and we will let you know when we are ready for you.

If you or someone you know has been in contact with someone with COVID 19 symptoms, there is provision for your dental care. If you are in pain, please call the practice and we will arrange for you to be seen.

We are still here to provide urgent care for those patients who require emergency cover and will keep you updated as to when we can begin to do more routine care.Thank you for all your support and well wishes through this time. As a small practice, we are doing everything we can to ensure we will be here to continue to serve you for years to come.

Kind regards,
